Position Summary

The Mortgage Operations & Compliance Analyst provides Level 1 LOS production support while performing compliance validation, operational control monitoring, and regulatory issue escalation support. This role troubleshoots system issues, reviews loan files for regulatory accuracy, supports audit readiness, and helps identify operational risk trends.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Level 1 LOS Support

o Serve as the primary production support contact for LOS issues.
o Troubleshoot workflow errors and task misfires.
o Document issues and escalate complex matters to LOS Admin.
o Maintain issue tracking and knowledge documentation.

• Compliance Validation

o Review loan files for disclosure timing and regulatory accuracy.
o Monitor compliance-related conditions and system triggers.
o Assist in tracking regulatory changes and operational impact.

• Operational Monitoring

o Support QC trend reporting.
o Assist with audit documentation.
o Participate in risk mitigation initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• 5–8 years of mortgage banking experience
• 2–4 years of experience in compliance, QC, operations support, or LOS troubleshooting
• Working knowledge of TRID, ECOA, and FHA/VA/USDA guidelines
• Experience working in a mortgage LOS
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience reviewing loan files for compliance
• Reporting or dashboard experience
• Exposure to audit preparation

Physical and Work Conditions

Standard office environment, equipment, and tasks, including work at a computer terminal. This position requires partial sitting and walking throughout the day. Employees must be open to working overtime to complete assigned tasks
