You must be ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivation, proactiveness and individual accountability to deliver a quality product within specified timelines is a necessity. Responsibility of UAT with Orion Lending requires working knowledge of Mortgage Origination systems. Candidate must be well versed with the fundamentals and methodology of test processes and test execution. Requires a strong ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while being able to work independently.Specific Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>Read and understand complex Business Requirements and Technical Specifications to create comprehensive testing plans and identify defects.</li></ul><ul><li>Create, execute and record detailed testing records.</li></ul><ul><li>In-depth knowledge of Mortgage Originations systems and processes.</li></ul><ul><li>In depth knowledge and execution of testing fundamentals and methodologies.</li></ul><ul><li>Excellent time management skills to prioritize assigned tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.</li></ul><ul><li>Track and communicate progress of assigned tasks.</li></ul><ul><li>Work in a team environment, demonstrating excellent communication skills.</li></ul><ul><li>Identify and communicate risk, including systems, business, compliance and financial and raise those up to the appropriate parties.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications and Experience<ul><li>Residential mortgage workflow experience</li></ul><ul><li>2 years of mortgage loan origination systems experience</li></ul><ul><li>3 years user acceptance testing/quality assurance experience</li></ul><ul><li>Self-started, ability to work independently</li></ul><ul><li>Working knowledge of: SDLC, Azure DevOps (preferred), Microsoft Office Suite of products</li></ul><ul><li>Demonstrated experience of excellent customer service skills</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: Remote

Position Summary
The Mortgage Operations &amp; Compliance Analyst provides Level 1 LOS production support while performing compliance validation, operational control monitoring, and regulatory issue escalation support. This role troubleshoots system issues, reviews loan files for regulatory accuracy, supports audit readiness, and helps identify operational risk trends.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>Level 1 LOS Support</li></ul>
 o Serve as the primary production support contact for LOS issues. 
 o Troubleshoot workflow errors and task misfires. 
 o Document issues and escalate complex matters to LOS Admin. 
 o Maintain issue tracking and knowledge documentation.<ul><li>Compliance Validation</li></ul>
 o Review loan files for disclosure timing and regulatory accuracy. 
 o Monitor compliance-related conditions and system triggers. 
 o Assist in tracking regulatory changes and operational impact.<ul><li>Operational Monitoring</li></ul>
 o Support QC trend reporting. 
 o Assist with audit documentation. 
 o Participate in risk mitigation initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience<ul><li>5&ndash;8 years of mortgage banking experience</li><li>2&ndash;4 years of experience in compliance, QC, operations support, or LOS troubleshooting</li><li>Working knowledge of TRID, ECOA, and FHA/VA/USDA guidelines</li><li>Experience working in a mortgage LOS</li><li>Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills</li><li>Experience reviewing loan files for compliance</li><li>Reporting or dashboard experience</li><li>Exposure to audit preparation</li></ul>

Physical and Work Conditions
Standard office environment, equipment, and tasks, including work at a computer terminal. This position requires partial sitting and walking throughout the day. Employees must be open to working overtime to complete assigned tasks</div>
