Graphic Designer

Position Summary

The Marketing Department is seeking a talented and imaginative Graphic Designer to join our dynamic in-house design team. The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver with a strong eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through design. You’ll bring concepts to life across both print and digital platforms, transforming copy and ideas into visually stunning, audience-focused materials that capture attention and drive engagement. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, can manage multiple projects simultaneously, and collaborates seamlessly with cross-functional teams to ensure every piece aligns with our brand vision and standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include but not limited to the following responsibilities:

• Create and update marketing campaigns, print materials, web/print ads, tradeshow collateral, social media images, video series elements, promotional items, business cards, e-mail blasts, logos, website designs, storyboards, etc.
• Collaborate with other teams within the department, taking content and producing necessary designs and mocks and communicating design decisions
• Work collaboratively with all members of the Marketing Team — partnering closely and taking direction as needed to ensure a cohesive, team-first approach to every project.
• Takes ownership of projects from start to finish — proactively managing all stages including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation — while ensuring deadlines are consistently met without the need for constant direction.
• Perform various other duties and projects assigned.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or Marketing (or equivalent)
• Mortgage Background (a plus)
• A portfolio showcasing your work
• 2+ years of design experience
• Experience working in a fast-paced team environment
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite(Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
• Experience with Adobe AfterEffects, Adobe Premiere, and Media Encoder (a plus)
• Capable of prioritizing multiple, simultaneous projects
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently and collaboratively
• Strong concept and design skills
• Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism
• Ability to deliver creative concepts and clearly communicate design decisions to others

Physical and Work Conditions

Standard office environment, equipment, and tasks, including work at a computer terminal. This position requires partial sitting and walking throughout the day. Employee must be open to work overtime to the requirements of the role.
