Creative Content & Social Coordinator

Job summary

Airship is looking for a creative, visually driven content marketer who can help shape how the brand looks and feels across social, digital, and campaign touchpoints.

Key responsibilities

A. Creative development and content production

  • Create strong, on-brand photo, video, and graphic design assets that represent Airship well across social, web, paid, and digital platforms.
  • Capture content on-site at cafés, roastery locations, retail placements, events, and partner activations.
  • Translate products, spaces, launches, and brand themes into content that feels visually sharp, current, and relevant to the channel.
  • Bring a strong sense of taste and creative judgment to how Airship shows up online, including framing, editing, pacing, composition, typography, and overall presentation.
  • Help develop a consistent visual language for the brand while also keeping content fresh and adaptable.
  • Produce content that can work across multiple needs, including organic social, product pages, campaign support, paid creative, and web placements.

B. Social media execution

  • Own the day-to-day execution of Airship’s organic social presence across priority platforms.
  • Maintain and execute the social content calendar in alignment with launches, promotions, seasonal priorities, café moments, and broader campaign plans.
  • Write captions and social copy that are clear, natural, brand-aligned, and platform-appropriate.
  • Manage community engagement across social channels and escalate sensitive issues when needed.
  • Help identify timely opportunities for content, conversation, and audience interaction.

C. Campaign and business support

  • Support launches, promotions, partnerships, retail moments, and events with creative assets and content execution.
  • Create content for PDPs and digital storefronts including Airship’s website, Amazon, Walmart, and Sam’s Club.
  • Support asset creation for paid campaigns, web needs, and digital marketing placements.
  • Collaborate with teams across retail, roasting, e-commerce, and wholesale to gather information and execute content accurately and on time.
  • Assist with content-related updates tied to Square, Shopify, menus, item visibility, and promotional support as needed.

D. Reporting and performance

  • Track key content and social performance metrics including engagement, traffic, channel growth, and creative effectiveness.
  • Bring forward ideas based on platform trends, creative opportunities, and performance learnings.
  • Participate in regular planning and review meetings to align on priorities, performance, and upcoming campaigns.

What we’re looking for

  • 1–3 years of experience in a creative content, social media, or brand marketing role.
  • Strong photo, video, editing, and storytelling ability.
  • Good visual taste and strong instincts for what feels on-brand, relevant, and well-made.
  • Ability to create content, not just coordinate it.
  • Comfort with Adobe Creative Cloud for photo, video, and graphic design work.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and produce consistently in a fast-moving environment.
  • Interest in hospitality, lifestyle, food and beverage, or coffee brands.
  • Bonus if you have experience with specialty coffee, cafés, Shopify, Square, or retail/CPG marketing.
