Position Title: Creative Designer II/ 3d Modeler

Reports to: Director of Design


Job Summary:

Weber Group is seeking a Creative Designer II with strong 3D modeling skills to support the design and production of themed attractions and environments. This role focuses on producing high-quality creative models and rendered outputs, preparing files for CNC production, and ensuring models translate seamlessly into fabrication. Working closely with the design department and fabrication team, the Creative Designer II helps bring ideas into reality by balancing creativity, technical accuracy, and buildability. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated designer to grow in a fast-paced, collaborative studio where storytelling meets craftsmanship. This is a full-time, exempt position.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Themed Entertainment Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in drafting or 3D modeling for design or fabrication.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling tools such as Rhino, Blender, or Maya. (Revit, Inventor or AutoCAD a plus) with a strong knowledge of rendering output requirements.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite for visualization and presentation.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and technical problem-solving.
  • Portfolio demonstrating 3D modeling, rendering, and design documentation.

Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

  • Produce high-quality 3D models and render outputs to communicate creative design intent.
  • Prepare and organize 3D model files for CNC production, ensuring compatibility and accuracy for fabrication.
  • Collaborate with the fabrication team to ensure models translate effectively into built environments.
  • Support the preparation of design packages, boards, and deliverables for client and internal presentations.
  • Graphic design experience is a plus.
  • Collaboration and communication with fabrication detailers to integrate structural and technology elements.
  • Explore creative and technical solutions, maintaining consistency with the approved design direction.
  • Learn and apply principles of storytelling, branding, and guest experience within themed environments.
  • Contribute actively to team discussions, problem-solving sessions, and design reviews.

Physical Demands:

  • May work beyond normal working hours, on weekends when necessary.
  • Communicates using English language.
  • Sees and hears or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
  • Uses telephone and computer extensively throughout the workday.
  • Sits, reaches and lifts intermittently throughout the workday. Lifts, pushes, pulls, and moves equipment, supplies, etc., of ten (10) pounds throughout the workday
