Role Summary
As a Senior Interior Designer, you will play a pivotal role in leading the design process for high-end commercial, workplace, hospitality, and retail interior projects. This includes taking ownership from concept through to project completion, working closely with cross-disciplinary teams, clients, and consultants to deliver cutting-edge, sustainable, and experiential environments.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the full design lifecycle of interior design projects, from concept development to project delivery.

Develop creative and functional interior design concepts that elevate the user experience and improve quality of life.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to integrate interior solutions seamlessly within overall building systems.

Produce high-quality presentations, design documentation, drawings, and specifications using
Revit
and
3D BIM tools
.

Select materials, furniture, lighting, and finishes suitable for corporate workplaces and commercial interiors.

Drive sustainability goals in design, with consideration for
LEED
and
WELL
principles.

Maintain clear, professional communication with clients and internal stakeholders.

Mentor junior designers, and contribute to a collaborative, design-forward studio culture.

Support pricing, sourcing, and FF&E procurement strategies in line with market standards.
Requirements
Essential:
-
Minimum
10+ years
of hands-on experience in
commercial interiors
,
corporate workplace
,
hospitality
, or
retail
design.

Bachelor's degree in
Interior Design
,
Architecture
, or equivalent from an internationally recognized university (preferably from top design schools)

Proven proficiency in
Revit
and
3D BIM
tools for interior projects.

Strong understanding of sustainable design frameworks including
LEED
and
WELL
.

Excellent design portfolio that communicates spatial storytelling, creativity, and innovation.

Comprehensive knowledge of
materials, furniture, lighting, and finishes
relevant to corporate environments.

Outstanding communication, presentation, and visual graphics skills.

Fluency in
spoken and written English
.
Desirable:

IIDA

RIBA
, or
AIA
memberships/certifications.

Familiarity with
Lumion

Kuwait or GCC market

Prior
Middle East work experience
