Job Description

If you can write with clarity, think creatively and aren’t afraid to jump in with a camera when inspiration strikes, you may be the perfect fit for Firespring’s creative team.

We’re looking for a Creative Intern who understands that modern storytelling goes beyond words. Writing sits at the center, but today’s content also includes quick-turn photo and video capture and smart use of AI tools to move ideas forward, faster.

You’ll work alongside our Creative Director, designers, and marketers to support client work and internal brand efforts—building a portfolio that blends copywriting, content creation, and real-world marketing experience.

What You’ll Do

• Write and refine copy across formats such as social posts, digital ads, websites, email, print and video scripts.
• Use AI tools to support ideation, generate first drafts and explore variations of messaging.
• Capture photo and video content for social media, internal marketing and behind-the-scenes storytelling.
• Learn how to shape content to match unique brand voices, tones and strategic goals.
• Collaborate in creative brainstorms, sharing ideas and building off others’ energy.
• Adapt content to different brand voices and audiences, shaping messages that connect and resonate.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Strong writing and storytelling instincts, with awareness of how content makes people feel.
• Interest or foundational skills in photo/video content creation (a good eye matters more than gear).
• Ability to shift tone and style based on project needs.
• Curious, collaborative and excited to learn from a seasoned creative team.
• Organized and comfortable juggling multiple assignments within a steady, supportive workflow.
• Excited about using AI as a creative accelerator—not a shortcut.
• Available for a mostly in-person role in Lincoln.

Bonus Points If You

• Have experience with short-form social content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).
• Are familiar with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or CapCut.
