We’re looking for a Motion Graphics Designer who can bring stories to life through compelling video and animation. You’ll transform raw assets, testimonials, and ideas into visually striking, high-performing videos across platforms like YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and our digital channels. This role combines creativity, speed, and storytelling with a strong sense of brand and purpose — helping Edge translate our product narrative and customer success stories into engaging visual content that drives awareness, trust, and pipeline.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Motion & Video Creation

  • Design and animate high-quality motion graphics and video assets for marketing, social media, website, and ad campaigns.
  • Edit and produce videos that blend photography, typography, and motion graphics into crisp, modern storytelling formats.
  • Repurpose existing footage — including customer testimonials, product explainers, and talent videos — into short-form and long-form content.
  • Experiment with AI-driven video generation tools (e.g., HeyGen, VEO, Luma Labs) to produce engaging and innovative visuals.
  • Create and maintain a library of multipurpose, engaging, and short animations that can be used company-wide to address common topics.
  • Foundational knowledge of design concepts, including the ability to use, customize, and adapt design templates.


2. Creative Concepting & Storytelling

  • Collaborate with the marketing, product, and content teams to conceptualize videos that communicate ideas clearly and creatively.
  • Develop storyboards and visual treatments that align with campaign goals and audience insights.
  • Produce attention-grabbing creative ads and thought-leadership videos - using humor, trends, and storytelling.
  • Align video storytelling with Edge’s key narratives: human + system, compliance-ready infrastructure, and the flexible workforce platform.


3. Video Editing & Optimization

  • Edit testimonial and product videos with efficiency and creativity, ensuring the messaging is clear, concise, and compelling.
  • Adapt videos for different formats, platforms, and audiences while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Optimize content for platform requirements (aspect ratio, duration, size, resolution, etc.).


4. Collaboration & Brand Alignment

  • Partner with cross-functional Product Marketing, Growth, and Creative teams to align video content with audience insights, GTM priorities, and funnel stage needs.
  • Ensure all videos reflect brand guidelines, tone, and visual standards.
  • Maintain and update a library of motion assets and templates for future use.


Success Metrics

  • Quality: Crisp animation, detailed design, strong storyboarding, adherence to brand and platform guidelines.
  • Creativity: Modern mix of photography and motion graphics with a clear storytelling arc.
  • Alignment: Videos that are visually consistent, on-message, and audience-relevant.
  • Impact: Videos contributing to measurable growth in engagement, awareness, and campaign performance (CTR, watch time, conversions).


Qualifications

  • Experience: 4–5+ years in motion design, animation, or video production for marketing or creative teams.
  • Portfolio: Strong showcase of motion graphics, animation, storytelling, and video editing.


  • Technical Skills:
  • Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Familiarity with 3D or motion tools (Cinema 4D, Blender, etc.)
  • Video editing and color correction tools
  • Prompt engineering to create hyper-realistic AI videos and images


  • Creative Skills:
  • Excellent eye for design, pacing, and storytelling.
  • Strong sense of brand aesthetics and attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of UI/UX and integration of motion in digital experiences.
  • Awareness of current motion design and social video trends.


  • Soft Skills:
  • Collaborative mindset and openness to feedback.
  • Effective communication and time management.



Bonus

  • Experience working with B2B and B2C video formats (talent explainers, product demos, brand videos, ads).
  • Interest in leveraging AI tools for faster, more creative video production.
