The Opportunity...

Our main business group is Medium Enterprises. We have a great level of customer service with market lead branding & design techniques. We specialise in online marketing and offer a consultancy based service to our clientele.

This is a great opportunity for someone to work in an exciting and well organised business and team. The role will allow the successful candidate to gain a wide variety of projects, practising both web and mobile development of WordPress websites.

The web development department is growing rapidly with new employees added this year. We are now looking for someone to come in and work within the team due to on-going workload demands.

We are looking for someone with a deep insight into WordPress and the way it is built. The ideal person will have a great understanding of HTML, CSS, WordPress and WooCommerce.

You need to have a passion for coding and pixel perfect development/designs. Someone who can think outside the box and research for answers.

You will need to be able to slip straight into the team, and be positive to all things web. Enthusiasm is key and you will be working in a fast-paced environment.

What We Are Looking For

An enthusiastic and motivated individual is required to join our team reporting directly to the head of Web Development, helping to keep our client websites and stores up to date with the latest features and content.

Primary duties of this role include:

• Wordpress Site Development
• Uploading and maintaining website content incl. online product catalogue in a timely manner, following style guidelines
• Manage and maintain a pristine website to ensure a flawless customer experience
• Regularly review content to ensure completeness and accuracy of information
• Liaise with marketing team to implement promotional calendar incl. updating website content to reflect events, news, and promotions
• Maintain a clean and organized website back-office
• Liaise with customer support team to identify and resolve web content issues
• Collaborate with external web design experts to resolve website bugs
• Produce and ensure accuracy of product data feeds for 3rd parties and platforms incl. Facebook, Google Shopping etc.

Desirable Skills / Experience

• Experience in a similar role
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Working knowledge of Wordpress, Magento 2, WIX or similar CMS platforms
• Familiarity with eBay SellerHub, FileExchange and the CSV file format preferred (training can be provided)
• Working knowledge of on and off-site SEO best practice and the ability to implement the same an advantage
• Strong literacy skills – able to write / adapt copy for different target audiences
• Competency with HTML, CSS or PHP a bonus
• Experience using Google Analytics or similar, to report key insights on web traffic an advantage

7. Mentorship Matters: Share your wisdom and expertise with the team, helping them grow as designers and developers.

8. Quality is Key: Conduct thorough checks to ensure that every website we launch meets our high standards of creativity and functionality.

9. User First: Put yourself in the shoes of our users, crafting experiences that are not just visually stunning but intuitive and engaging too.

10. SEO Best Practices: Follow and enforce SEO best practices in site design and content, guiding the team in these areas.

11. Integrations & Configurations: Integrate third-party plugins like forms, ecommerce, etc., into the Elementor site, and ensure seamless integration by the team.

12. Frontend Code Customizations: Make the design work using HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery etc for best possible outlook of desired site design.
