Credit Control Analyst

India

Key Responsibilities:

  • Credit Risk Assessment
  • Evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing clients using financial statements, credit reports, and payment history.
  • Recommend credit limits and terms in line with company policies.
  • Accounts Receivable Management
  • Monitor outstanding invoices and ensure timely collection of payments.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and follow up on overdue balances.
  • Prepare aging reports and highlight high-risk accounts.
  • Collections & Dispute Resolution
  • Contact clients regarding overdue payments via calls, emails, and reminders.
  • Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing disputes.
  • Negotiate repayment plans where necessary.
  • Reporting & Analysis
  • Generate regular reports on debtor status, credit exposure, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Analyze trends in customer payment behavior and recommend actions to mitigate risks.
  • Compliance & Process Improvement
  • Ensure adherence to company credit policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits related to receivables.
  • Suggest process improvements to enhance collection efficiency.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of credit risk, collections, and receivables management.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret financial data.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally or similar).
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
