Credit Manager – Hotels Sector

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Credit Manager with a proven background in the hospitality sector to lead and manage the hotel’s credit and accounts receivable function. The role is responsible for establishing and implementing effective credit policies and procedures, ensuring efficient collection processes, minimizing financial risk, and maintaining healthy cash flow while supporting the hotel’s commercial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement credit policies and procedures in line with best practices in the hospitality industry.

Establish and manage a structured credit system including credit evaluation, credit limits, and payment terms for clients and corporate accounts.

Review and approve credit applications for corporate clients, travel agencies, and contracted companies.

Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.

Analyze aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts while taking appropriate action when necessary.

Coordinate closely with Sales, Reservations, and Finance departments to ensure proper implementation of credit policies.

Manage relationships with corporate clients and resolve billing or payment disputes when required.

Supervise and guide the credit and collections team to ensure efficient operations.

Prepare regular reports on credit status, receivables, and collection performance for management review.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

Minimum 5 years of experience in Credit Management or Accounts Receivable within the hotel industry.

Previous work experience in hotels within Saudi Arabia is mandatory.

Strong understanding of hotel financial systems and Property Management Systems (PMS).

Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
