About the Client
Our client, a leading bank in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Credit Risk Assistant Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Assess and structure credit proposals for private banking, HNW, and corporate clients, ensuring alignment with the bank's strategy, sector analysis, and risk appetite.
- Approve or recommend credit facilities within delegated authority, including those secured by real estate or shares, and escalate larger exposures to higher management in line with policy and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and manage private banking and corporate credit portfolios, identify early warning signals, recommend downgrades or corrective actions, and address overdue or irregular accounts.
- Engage with private banking and corporate clients through meetings and site visits, and coordinate with business managers, auditors, and regulators on credit-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, audit recommendations, and Central Bank regulations while supporting special projects and risk initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, or related field; Master's or professional certification (CFA/CA/CPA) desirable.
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in banking with strong exposure to corporate or credit portfolio management.
- Strong credit analysis, risk assessment, and portfolio monitoring skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and banking policies.
- Effective communicator with analytical and decision-making capabilities.
