As we continue to grow at Lendo, we’re looking for a Credit Risk Manager to strengthen the integrity of our lending process and ensure sound credit decisions. In this key role, you’ll evaluate client creditworthiness, assess risk across portfolios, and drive strategies to approve or reject loan requests with confidence and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive credit assessments of SME financing applications through financial statement analysis, cash flow evaluation, and due diligence to determine creditworthiness.
Review credit proposals to ensure they are complete, accurate, and compliant with Lendo's credit policies, underwriting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Prepare clear, evidence-based credit recommendations for the Credit Committee, outlining key risks, mitigants, and approval or rejection rationale.
Assess credit exposures to ensure alignment with Lendo's risk appetite, portfolio concentration limits, and internal risk rating framework.
Monitor the performance and quality of the credit portfolio, identifying emerging risks, delinquency trends, and recommending appropriate mitigation strategies.
Produce regular credit risk reports and portfolio insights, providing analysis on borrower performance, loan exposures, and overall portfolio quality.
Support the ongoing enhancement of credit policies, underwriting frameworks, and risk management processes to improve consistency and decision quality.
Collaborate with Sales, Credit Operations, Legal, and other internal stakeholders to ensure efficient credit decision-making while maintaining strong risk controls.
Ensure all lending activities comply with SAMA regulations, internal governance requirements, and Shariah-compliant financing principles.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
4–10 years of experience in a Credit Risk, Credit Underwriting, or similar lending-related role, preferably within a bank, financial institution, or FinTech.
Strong understanding of invoice financing products and SME lending within a commercial financing environment.
Good knowledge of the Saudi banking and financial services landscape, including credit bureau data and its application in credit assessment.
Familiarity with the KSA regulatory environment and lending frameworks, including SAMA requirements and Shariah-compliant financing principles.
Strong financial analysis and credit assessment skills, with the ability to interpret financial statements, cash flows, and borrower risk.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with strong attention to detail and sound commercial judgement.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present clear credit recommendations.
Fluent in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other reporting or credit analysis tools.
