Duties

• Lead and supervise a crew of landscapers on daily tasks including landscape maintenance, lawn care, gardening, and construction projects
• Plan and organize work schedules to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards
• Perform landscape installation, pruning, planting, irrigation setup, and tree care with precision and attention to detail
• Oversee safety protocols and ensure all team members follow proper procedures to maintain a safe work environment
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections of tools, equipment, and landscape features to ensure optimal performance
• Mentor team members in horticultural techniques, equipment operation, and best practices for landscape maintenance

Experience

• Proven supervising experience in landscaping or related outdoor maintenance fields
• Strong background in landscape maintenance, gardening, lawn care, irrigation systems, and horticulture practices
• Knowledge of construction techniques relevant to landscaping projects including planting beds, hardscaping elements, and turf installation
• Experience with tree care procedures such as pruning and health assessment
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate a team effectively
• Familiarity with safety regulations related to outdoor work environments and equipment operation
• Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $24.44 - $29.44 per hour
