Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of landscapers on diverse projects including lawn care, gardening, planting, pruning, and landscape installation.
• Coordinate daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, fertilizing, and irrigation system management.
• Oversee construction activities related to landscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and water features.
• Conduct quality control inspections to maintain high standards of horticulture practices and safety protocols.
• Provide training and mentorship to crew members in landscaping techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand project needs and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the process.

Requirements

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, or horticulture with a strong understanding of plant health and garden design.
• Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction environments.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care, gardening techniques, and general maintenance practices.
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and small construction tools.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team while maintaining safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials when necessary.
