Duties

• Lead and supervise crew members in landscape maintenance, gardening, lawn care, and horticulture projects to ensure quality workmanship and timely completion
• Safely operate and drive various landscaping equipment, trucks, and trailers to transport tools, materials, and team members to job sites
• Coordinate daily schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to maximize productivity and efficiency
• Perform landscape installation tasks such as planting trees, shrubs, flowers, installing irrigation systems, and constructing landscape features
• Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies during all operations
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors to address project needs and resolve issues promptly

Experience

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or related outdoor work environments
• Supervising or leadership experience in a construction or horticultural setting is highly desirable
• Knowledge of lawn care techniques, tree care practices, irrigation systems, gardening, and general horticulture principles
• Skilled in operating landscaping machinery and trucks safely and efficiently
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with maintenance procedures for tools and equipment used in landscaping and construction projects
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients effectively
