Find The RightJob.

Timberline TrailCraft is looking for hardworking, dependable individuals who want to spend their days building something real — not sitting behind a desk. The Trails Crewmember is a hands-on, outdoor role supporting the construction and maintenance of trail systems across Colorado. Working side-by-side with experienced crew leaders, you’ll help transform raw terrain into high-quality trails that communities will enjoy for years to come. If you enjoy physical work, team environments, and being outside in all kinds of landscapes, this is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a crew that takes pride in what they build.

WHY JOIN TRAILCRAFT?
Because this is more than just a seasonal job.
  • Work in some of the most beautiful environments in Colorado
  • Be part of a tight-knit crew that supports each other
  • Learn valuable trail building and field skills
  • Stay active and work outdoors instead of behind a desk
  • Take pride in projects that communities will use for decades
At TrailCraft, we value grit, teamwork, safety, and growth. Whether you’re new to trail work or looking to build your field experience, we invest in people who show up ready to work and learn.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Trails Crewmember, you will support daily trail construction and maintenance activities while working closely with your Crew Leader.

Your responsibilities include:
  • Perform skilled and entry-level trail construction work
  • Meet and exceed client expectations through quality workmanship
  • Follow direction from the Trails Crew Leader on daily tasks
  • Communicate safety concerns, site conditions, and work updates promptly
  • Follow Timberline emergency protocols when required
  • Read and implement basic plans and schematics as assigned
  • Operate and maintain hand tools, small power tools, and chainsaws (as trained)
  • Assist with routine tool maintenance, including sharpening and re-hanging hand tools
  • Work full days in backcountry environments without regular amenities
  • Support overall crew productivity and morale
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
You’ll be part of the crew that turns raw ground into something people will explore for years to come.

Some projects may require living on-site. Lodging arrangements vary and may include tents, RVs, shared housing, or other field accommodations. For job sites more than one hour from home, Timberline provides per diem support. When feasible, evening and weekend travel home may be permitted.
