Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble smoothies and food items efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards
• Operate POS system to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions with care
• Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness by ensuring that all cafe procedures meet health regulations
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve guests promptly without compromising quality
• Support other team members in various roles such as cashiering, cleaning, or restocking supplies to ensure smooth cafe operations

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation and food service environments, preferably within quick service or fast-food restaurants
• Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to upsell menu items confidently
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience with kitchen tasks such as assisting in food prep is a plus
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
• Previous restaurant experience is beneficial but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
