Responsibilities

• Prepare food items efficiently and according to established standards, ensuring quality and safety.
• Operate POS systems such as Toast POS process orders accurately and handle cash or card transactions with confidence.
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service, engaging with guests to enhance their experience.
• Upsell menu items and promote Firehouse Public Safety Foundation.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols.
• Assist in food handling, stocking supplies, and supporting kitchen operations during busy periods.
• Manage time effectively to complete tasks promptly while delivering excellent service in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Toast POS enhances your ability to serve efficiently.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks seamlessly during peak hours.
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory management.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication.
