Duties

• Operate lawn mowers, hand tools, power tools, and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently to maintain lawns and turf areas
• Perform mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing to ensure neat and well-manicured landscapes
• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, tree care, and hardscape installation
• Support irrigation system checks and basic repairs to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas
• Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris and ensuring equipment is stored properly after use
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment such as excavators or other machinery used in landscaping projects
• Collaborate with team members on larger projects like tree trimming, snow plowing (seasonal), or garden enhancements

Requirements

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and maintenance
• Prior experience or interest in lawn care, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is a plus
• Ability to operate lawn mowers, snow plows (seasonal), and other landscaping equipment safely
• Knowledge of gardening practices, tree care, irrigation systems, and hardscape features is advantageous
• Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety procedures diligently
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions including standing for long periods and lifting heavy equipment or materials
• Willingness to learn new skills related to construction, landscaping, or tree trimming
