To ensure a consistent and traceable quality process for visually inspecting pipes. This job exists to verify that each pipe meets basic condition requirements and that the piece ID selected in the HMI matches the physical pipe, preserving traceability throughout the process. This instruction applies to all personnel responsible for visually inspecting pipes from the catwalk, identifying gross defects, selecting the correct piece ID on the HMI, and documenting inspection results for each order. To detect surface-breaking longitudinal and transverse imperfections on the internal and external surfaces of new ferromagnetic pipe ends using wet fluorescent magnetic particle inspection (MT) via the OPT Active Field SEA system.
