- Provides evaluation and treatment to adults and youth in an inpatient behavioral health and substance use setting.

Works collaboratively with Inpatient Psychiatrist and Chief Medical Officer

Conducts thorough psychiatric evaluations that result in accurate diagnosis.

Prescribes medications including MAT treatments as indicated.

Assists with Baker Act and Marchman Act documentation and court process as needed.

Demonstrates effective coordination to improve treatment outcomes and compliance.
- Coordinates with other providers, including the Primary Care Physician and other medical providers.

Provides education to patients and families regarding diagnostic and medication related information.

Works as part of the treatment team for all treatment and discharge planning needs.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in mental health and substance use.

Experience working with both adults and children.

Ability to pass a level II Background clearance and drug test.
- Valid FL drivers’ license, insurance, and safe driving record.
- Dependable transportation (registered, safe operating conditions, etc.).
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks.

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle in all driving conditions.

Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.

Must maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct, while adhering to agency policies and procedures.
