Criminal Appeals Attorney

Beles & Beles is seeking to hire a California attorney who has superior legal research and writing skills and knowledge of criminal appeals and habeas corpus petitions. Some civil experience would be ideal but is not required.

This position is well suited to an attorney looking to gain appellate expertise or an experienced attorney who desires a workplace where they will be surrounded by likeminded lawyers. Applicants should have a personal commitment and motivation to reducing penalties and punishments for people that have been convicted of crimes.

We have a large caseload of criminal matters in all stages of litigation including criminal appeals and habeas corpus petitions in both state and federal courts.

Admission into the California State Bar is required.

Salary $120,000.00 to $130,000.00 plus benefits, healthcare, sick pay, vacation. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.

We are located in the Lake Merritt area.
