Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel, Fifth District


Our Organization and Mission:


The five Regional Counsel offices were created by the Legislature pursuant to Section 27.511, Fla. Stat. in 2007 to provide legal representation to indigent persons in criminal conflict cases where the Public Defender has a conflict or in cases where there are multiple co-defendants. The Regional Counsel Office, Fifth Region serves 4 judicial circuits and 13 counties, including Marion County.


Assistant Regional Counsel Attorney:


RC5 is seeking a full time attorney in Ocala, Marion County, Florida. If you desire to litigate at a high level, then this is the job for you. The position involves representing indigent adults and juveniles. Zero to one year experience. Must be a member in good standing with the Florida Bar. Starting Salary – $71,000 and up; negotiable depending on experience
