Criminal Defense Client Care Coordinator

We are searching for the ideal candidate to join our ever-growing team as our newest Client Care Coordinator (CCC). The CCC must be computer literate, a team player, detail-oriented, highly organized, possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills, must be able to multi-task, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. This is a remote full-time position, Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. The CCC will be able to work remote on a rotating schedule.

Primary responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and filing legal documents in all courts
• Calendaring court dates and managing client deadlines.
• Managing client files including, updating client information, notes, time, and expenses in Clio and Slack, our client management software.
• Interacting with and obtaining information from clients, law enforcement agencies, court officials, prosecutors, witnesses, experts, and others.
• Daily client communication.
• Assist in trial preparation.
• Provide a positive experience to ensure client satisfaction.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing, proofing materials, calendaring, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
• Must have the ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to prepare legal pleadings and correspondence.
• Experience with Clio and Slack a plus.
• Must be responsible, reliable, and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to interact effectively with staff and clients.
