This position is located at TCHS Brandywine Campus in Downingtown, PA and the anticipated start date is August 11th, 2026.

    Location: TCHS Brandywine Campus - 443 Boot Road, Downingtown, PA 19335
    Benefits Eligible: Yes
    Anticipated start date: August 11th, 2026
    Schedule: 10-month; Monday – Friday, 7.5 hr/day; 194 days year one, 191 days year two, 190 days all subsequent years
    Exempt Status: Exempt
    Salaried or Hourly: Salaried

    Qualifications:
    • PA Department of Education Teaching Vocational I or II Certificate in Law Enforcement 7-12 or qualify to enroll in a certification program.
    • At least 4 years related industry experience, employment experience in the area(s) of Law Enforcement and Public Safety required
    • Current police, child abuse & FBI Fingerprint clearances required.

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for teaching the competency-based curriculum as validated by the Occupational Advisory Committee.
    • The instructor will conduct all classroom activities and related instructional experiences, which will prepare the students for a successful career path in the Criminal Justice & Police Sciences occupations.
    • Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.
    • Evaluate pupil's academic and social growth, keep appropriate records and prepare progress reports.

    Salary 2026-2027 School Year:
    • E/I - $59,796 to $87,342
    • Inst I - $62,155 to $89,730
    • Inst II - $64,834 to $93,324
    • Voc II + 15- $66,195 to $97,616
