Job Responsibilities
Teaches assigned classes in Criminal Justice by providing systematically planned and delivered instruction; to design and develop curriculum, advise students and evaluate performance.
Plans and implements classroom instruction.
Reviews, evaluates, and revises course objectives, materials and course syllabi with other faculty members as needed.
Serves as academic advisor to students and participates in recruitment and retention activities.
Serves on institutional teams as assigned.
Participates in professional development activities as per Individual Professional Development Plan.
Maintains records of student academic progress and attendance, evaluates level of achievement, communicates with students and assigns grades.
Minimum And Additional Requirements
Master's degree in Criminal Justice or a Master's Degree with 18 graduate hours in Criminal Justice.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous Law Enforcement experience is preferred.
