Critical Care Nurse

• Assessment & Monitoring: Performing head-to-toe assessments, monitoring ECG rhythms, oxygenation, and hemodynamic indicators to detect subtle changes in status. Treatment & Intervention: Managing ventilators, artificial airways, intravenous infusions, and invasive lines. Emergency Response: Responding to code blue situations, providing advanced life support (ACLS), and intervening during acute deterioration. Collaboration & Care Plans: Working with intensivist doctors, respiratory therapists, and specialists to develop and execute personalized care plans. Documentation & Communication: Maintaining meticulous electronic health records (EHR) and providing updates to patients and families during stressful, high-stakes scenarios. Patient Advocacy: Ensuring patient safety, dignity, and comfort while acting as their advocate in the ICU.
