Responsibilities:
- Assist in the care and monitoring of critically ill patients in ICU/CCU/ER
- Record and monitor vital signs such as BP, pulse, ECG, SPO2, and temperature
- Set up, operate, and maintain critical care equipment like ventilators, monitors, defibrillators, infusion pumps, etc.
- Assist doctors and nurses during emergency procedures and resuscitation
- Prepare and maintain sterile equipment and supplies
- Collect samples (blood, urine, sputum) and send them for testing
- Ensure proper documentation in patient records and ICU charts
- Respond quickly to emergency situations and alarms
- Maintain cleanliness and infection-control standards in the critical care unit
- Support patient shifting within the hospital with proper monitoring
- Check availability of medicines, consumables, and equipment in ICU
- Provide emotional support to patients and help communicate with relatives when needed
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Critical Care Technology or Emergency Care (DCT / B.Sc CCT / EMT)
- Experience in ICU, CCU, or Emergency department preferred
- Knowledge of ICU procedures, emergency care protocols, and critical care equipment
- Ability to remain calm and act quickly in high-pressure situations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills.
