Job Summary

The Critical Care Technician will assist doctors and nurses in providing high-quality care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The role involves monitoring patient vitals, operating medical equipment, and ensuring seamless clinical support in emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the management and monitoring of patients in ICU, HDU, and emergency units.
  • Operate and maintain critical care equipment such as ventilators, infusion pumps, and monitors.
  • Record and report patient vitals accurately and promptly to the medical team.
  • Support physicians and nursing staff during emergency procedures and resuscitations.
  • Ensure proper infection control, hygiene, and maintenance of clinical areas.
  • Assist in patient shifting and preparation for diagnostic or surgical procedures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards.
  • Participate in training and continuous learning programs for clinical and technical skill enhancement.

Qualification & Experience

  • Diploma / B.Sc. in Critical Care Technology.
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a Critical Care Unit / ICU / Emergency Department.
  • Hands-on experience with ICU equipment and basic life support procedures is essential.

Skills Required

  • Strong technical knowledge of ICU monitoring systems and life support equipment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-pressure situations.
  • Commitment to patient safety and clinical excellence.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
