Staff Nurse – ICU Position
Title: Staff Nurse – ICU
Department: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Reports To: ICU In-Charge / Nursing Superintendent
Location: Vedansh Super specialist Hospital Dadri
1. Job Summary

The ICU Staff Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality critical care nursing to patients admitted in the Intensive Care Unit. This includes continuous monitoring, timely intervention, administering medications, and providing compassionate support to patients and their families.

2. Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: GNM / B.Sc Nursing (Registered with State Nursing Council)
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in ICU / Critical Care setup preferred
  • Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support) / ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred

3. Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and patient progress.
  • Administer IV fluids, medications, blood transfusions, and nutrition as prescribed.
  • Operate and maintain ICU equipment — ventilators, monitors, infusion pumps, defibrillators, etc.
  • Assist doctors during clinical procedures and emergency interventions (intubation, CPR, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records.
  • Observe and report any clinical changes to the physician promptly.
  • Ensure aseptic techniques and strict infection control protocols.
  • Support family counseling and patient updates as guided by doctors.
  • Participate in handover reports and multidisciplinary team discussions.
  • Maintain readiness of crash cart and emergency equipment.
  • Adhere to hospital policies, ethical standards, and confidentiality guidelines.
  • Participate in training and continuous education for ICU nursing skills.

5. Work Schedule

  • Shift: Rotational (9:00am -6:00pm)
  • Location: Vedansh super specialist hospital

6. Salary

  • As per hospital policy and experience level
  • (e.g., ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
