Cross-Trained Dental Treatment Coordinator / Insurance & Billing

New York Family Dental Arts is a growing multi-specialty dental practice located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. We are seeking an experienced, friendly, and highly organized professional to join our team in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

The ideal candidate must be comfortable performing multiple administrative functions, including reception, treatment presentation, insurance coordination, and billing.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of dental office experience required
• Strong knowledge of dental insurance verification, benefits, copays, deductibles, and PPO plans
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy office
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience with Denticon is a plus (training available)

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist patients with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Schedule appointments and manage the daily appointment flow
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
• Present treatment plans and discuss patient financial responsibilities
• Calculate and explain copays, deductibles, and treatment estimates
• Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Assist with billing, insurance claims, and collections
• Coordinate patient treatment and follow-up appointments
