Dental Treatment Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through their treatment plans and ensuring a smooth, positive experience from consultation to post-treatment follow-up. Your energetic approach will help foster patient trust, improve appointment scheduling efficiency, and support the overall success of our practice. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of dental procedures, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient service.

Duties

  • Explain treatment options clearly, answering questions to ensure patient understanding and comfort
  • Coordinate scheduling of appointments, procedures, and follow-up visits using patient management software
  • Verify insurance coverage, explain financial policies, and assist with treatment financing options
  • Prepare and review treatment plans with patients, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care and administrative need.
  • Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about services, appointments, and billing as needed
  • Support medical administrative tasks such as data entry, typing reports, and maintaining organized records

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in dental office setting is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of health insurance policies and medical billing procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and familiarity Open Dental Software
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively both in person and over the phone
  • Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care is advantageous
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of patient information at all times
  • Office experience demonstrating organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with health regulation policies related to medical administrative support and electronic health records management
  • Strong typing skills for efficient documentation and correspondence

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
