About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated Crude Oil Supply and Operations Lead to strengthen our global crude oil supply operations and contribute to our company’s strategic growth goals. In this role, you will manage the import of crude oil to TUPRAS’s 4 refineries, coordinate commercial agreements, and ensure the smooth execution of all operational procedures as well as managing relations with national oil companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop processes aligned with the company’s commercial strategies to enhance supply operations
• Conduct market research, monitor market trends, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
• Forecast crude oil prices to guide and impact production planning
• Negotiate and manage commercial agreements in compliance with refinery requirements, and coordinate directly with national oil companies and trading offices
• Oversee the full operation process of import cargoes, ensuring SAP registration, customs documentation, and timely system entry
• Manage invoice transactions and coordinate payment plans with relevant departments
• Ensure proper control and execution of LC/SBLC processes
• Collaborate with Legal and Compliance departments to structure recap clauses and finalize contracts
• Complete vessel and shipment approval processes following commercial agreements
• Work closely with Planning departments of the refineries, Tüpraş Trading Ltd., Customs, Finance and Technical Services (Process) departments to manage supply operations
• Monitor vessel movements and ensure smooth operations of crude oil
• Conduct economic and market analyses, evaluate trade opportunities
• Prepare reports on regional import /export activities of crude oil to outline strategies for near future plans

What We Look For?

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, Business Administration, International Trade, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in supply operations, contract management, and import/export operations
• Solid understanding of MS Office applications
• Fluent, professional English proficiency
• Adaptable to a fast-paced and agile work culture
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and a strong team player
• Thrives on diverse perspectives and demonstrates flexibility
• Possesses an analytical and innovative mindset with a strong sense of initative
