Purpose of the Role:

The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all operational processes within the insurance brokerage firm. This role ensures operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and high levels of client satisfaction, while aligning with the company’s strategic goals.


Key Responsibilities


  • Operational Strategy: Develop and implement global and local operational strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze, streamline, and digitize operational workflows to enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • Department Oversight: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including policy administration, customer service and IT
  • Performance Management: Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational excellence.
  • Compliance & Risk: Ensure adherence to local and international insurance regulations and manage operational risks.
  • Technology & Innovation: Drive the adoption of technology solutions to improve operational capabilities and customer experience.
  • Client Experience: Design and implement processes that enhance client satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the operations budget, ensuring cost efficiency and resource optimization.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team to foster a high-performance culture.


Qualifications & Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Having IT software development background is a must.
  • Strong in strategic planning, process optimization, productivity improvement, and change management
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in the related position. Insurance sector experience is a plus
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience in operations management.
  • Experience in international or regional operations is highly desirable.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven track record in change management and digital transformation initiatives.
