HIRING FOR CRUISE LOGISTICS AGENT

Essential duties and responsibilities

• Manages end‑to‑end air and Seafreight operations (A–Z), ensuring full compliance with internal HWL policies, government regulations, and Foreign Trade Zone import/export requirements.
• Serves as the primary point of contact for customers, vendors, agents, and internal Hellmann offices , delivering proactive communication, daily shipment updates, and strong service relationships.
• Prepares, issues, and manages rate requests and quotations , verifies client credit status prior to booking, and supports accurate operational and financial processing.
• Collaborates cross‑functionally with Sales, Product, and Operations teams , professionally supporting customer escalations and adapting to market trends and service changes.
• Maintains accurate reporting and documentation using internal systems, internet tools, and standard software while supporting additional operational duties as required

Skills and experiences

• Associate’s degree (A.A.) from a two-year college or equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of educational requirement
• High School Diploma or GED
• One to three years of previous experience in freight forwarding industry required, preferably in Cruise Logistics
• Completion of any industry related course is an asset
