Medical Billing Customer Service Representative (CSR)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Medical Billing CSR to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling healthcare billing queries and insurance-related concerns while ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls related to medical billing and insurance claims
• Assist patients with billing inquiries, payment plans, and account details
• Verify insurance information and explain coverage, co-pays, and deductibles
• Follow up on unpaid claims and coordinate with insurance companies
• Resolve billing discrepancies and escalate complex issues when required
• Maintain accurate records in billing systems and CRM tools

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (Mandatory)
• 3 months to 2 years of relevant experience
• Strong communication skills, especially in handling sensitive patient information
• Basic understanding of medical billing, insurance processes, and terminology
• Experience with EHR/EMR systems and billing software is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet targets
• Good problem-solving and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in US healthcare/medical billing process
• Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
• Experience working in a call center or healthcare support role

Job Details

• Location: Near Old Airport, Fazal Town Phase 2, Rawalpindi
• Shift: 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM (Mon–Fri)
