About the Role

Matlaay is looking for a motivated CSR Intern who will act as a communication bridge between our company, partner restaurants, and universities. The intern will assist in onboarding support, relationship management, and on-ground coordination, including visiting restaurants and institutions for communication and pitching.

This role is ideal for someone who is confident in communication, enjoys meeting people, and wants real-world business exposure.

Key Responsibilities

Restaurant Coordination

• Communicate with restaurant owners, managers, and staff on behalf of Matlaay
• Guide restaurants regarding platform usage, orders, and basic operational queries
• Assist the onboarding team in collecting required information and documents
• Follow up with restaurants for activation and updates
• Maintain a list of contacts and update partner information

University & Institutional Communication

• Contact universities, hostels, and student societies for collaborations
• Coordinate meetings, stalls, and promotional activities on campuses
• Support awareness campaigns and student engagement activities
• Assist in developing student ambassador connections

Field Visits & Pitching Support

• Visit restaurants and cafés for coordination and pitching support
• Deliver marketing materials and assist during partner meetings
• Help explain Matlaay services to potential partners
• Gather feedback from restaurants and report to the team

Customer & Partner Support

• Respond to basic queries from restaurants and partners
• Report operational issues to relevant departments
• Maintain daily activity and visit reports

Requirements

• Intermediate / Bachelor’s student (Business, Marketing, Media, or related field preferred)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident in face-to-face conversations
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets
• Comfortable with phone calls and WhatsApp communication
• Willingness to travel within the city for meetings and restaurant visits
