CSSD Technician

• To supervise collection of used theatre and ward instrument sets.
• Attending training programs.
• Translating organizational objectives into operational goals.
• Implementing Standard operating procedures.
• Adhering to the standing orders of the organization.
• Awareness and implementation of organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
• Supervising the junior nurses & training them effectively.
• To manage, coordinate and depute staff efficiently.
• To monitor the next day’s surgery list.
• Sanctioning leave for CSSD staff and maintaining records of absenteeism.
• Ensuring implementation of all infection control measures.
• Coordinating with the operating rooms.
• Maintaining confidentiality and providing feedback.
• Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in the CSSD at all times.
• Efficient management of resources.
• Coordinate functioning of the CSSD with the OT coordinator and the wards.
• Participation in implementation of quality initiatives in the department.
• Reporting to the infection control incharge and OT coordinator at periodic intervals.
• Checking used items from theatres, wards and OPDs.
• Packing of all clean items into instruments set by the prescribed norm.
• Counting of linen and expensive equipment regularly.
• Carrying out sterilization of processed packs.
• Overseeing delivery of sterile packs to the OT, wards and OPD.
• Collection of stock as required in the production of packs.
• Supervising sorting, folding and packing of theatre and other linen.
• Checking linen for spoilage before use in theatre and other linen.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
