Position Summary

We are seeking a creative and knowledgeable Curriculum Developer Intern with a strong passion for Pakistan Studies. This remote role is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to gain hands-on experience in instructional design and educational content creation.

The intern will assist our team in researching, designing, and developing a comprehensive and engaging curriculum for Pakistan Studies, suitable for [Specify target audience, e.g., K-12, undergraduate, or general learners].

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Research: Conduct in-depth research on topics related to Pakistan's history, geography, culture, civics, and economy.
  • Curriculum Design: Assist in outlining curriculum modules, learning objectives, and lesson sequences.
  • Content Creation: Write, edit, and proofread educational content, including lesson plans, student activities, reading materials, and presentations.
  • Assessment Development: Help create quizzes, assignments, and project-based assessments to measure student learning.
  • Review & Revision: Review existing materials for historical accuracy, clarity, and alignment with learning goals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior developers and subject matter experts to ensure content quality and consistency.
  • Digital Integration: Adapt content for an online learning environment, ensuring it is engaging for remote learners.

Qualifications and Skills

Required:

  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Pakistan Studies, History, Political Science, Education, or a closely related field.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of Pakistan's history and geography.
  • Excellent research, writing, and editing skills in both English and Urdu.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to factual accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Reliable internet connection and access to a personal computer.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have):

  • Prior experience in tutoring, teaching, or content creation.
  • Familiarity with instructional design principles or e-learning tools.
  • A keen interest in educational technology (EdTech).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.
