Job Summary:
We are hiring every-day custodians in Catoosa County Schools.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED (Preferred)
• Must be 18 years of age

Experience:

• Previous job experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently performs a variety of cleaning duties as assigned.
• Performs minor repairs and maintenance that are of such nature that professional services are not required.
• Maintains high standards of cleanliness and sanitation as well as the operation and care of machinery.
• Keeps grounds well maintained and free of trash.
• Recognizes and maintains proper employee relationships with administrators, teachers, pupils, community, and fellow employees.
• Complies with requests from the teachers and other school personnel if these requests are within the scope of custodial responsibility.
• Properly dispose of all garbage and refuse; breaks down cardboard for recycling purposes.
• Arranges furnishings and equipment for the purpose of providing adequate preparation for meetings, activities and events.
• Maintains supplies and equipment to ensure availability for routine needs.
• Moves furnishings as required for routine and periodic major cleaning.
• Operates and maintains machinery and equipment in performing assigned cleaning tasks.
• Responds to immediate safety and/or operational concerns to resolve safety issues and maintain a functioning educational environment.
• Reports damaged structures and equipment to the appropriate supervisor.
• Participates in training programs as required.
• Follows work schedule and attendance requirements in a regular, predictable and punctual manner.
• Follows the established chain of command.
• Able to work well with all staff members.
• Other duties as assigned
• Assume duties of the district custodian in accordance with school district rules, and Kelly policies
• Comply with school Safety Manual Rules and Regulations and OSHA requirements

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $14.50 per hour
