JOB SUMMARY
Support the health and sustainability of all people and property at camp. It is important for a custodian to be careful and thorough in working, cleaning, sanitizing, and tidying the premises, as well as preventing vandalism and long-term damage to the facilities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces

Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets

Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and showers and restock items such as paper towels and toilet paper as needed.
- Wipe mirrors and windows

Report damage and issues to leadership staff so they are addressed as quickly as possible.
- Work as part of a team that serves high quality programming to Girl Scouts year round
- Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances

Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components

Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with supervisors, summer staff, and parents
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to stand for an extended amount of time and traverse uneven terrain
- Must be able to complete & clear a Criminal, and Sex Offender background check
- Prefer to be 21 years or older and have a clean driving record to use equipment
- Must successfully complete a criminal, and motor vehicle background check.
