This is work supervising custodian crews in maintaining the cleanliness, sanitary conditions and appearance of the buildings on the School of Dentistry Campus.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION
This position is considered an essential personnel position and must be available to respond to campus emergencies after hours and during campus closures.
The employee may be assigned to the emergency team that remains on campus and or evacuates to an off-site location during emergency events.
This position may be placed on the On-Call rotation.
Must have a current driver’s license.
Knowledge of general institutional cleaning and disinfecting procedures.
Knowledge of clinical cleaning and disinfecting procedures.
Knowledge of the operation and use of commercial-grade housekeeping equipment.
Knowledge of supervisory principles and practices.
Skill in performing disinfecting procedures.

Visual ability, corrected, to observe dangerous situations in the work area (such as wet floors) in order to redirect people to avoid injuries.
