Custodian Supervisor/Inspector

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate day and night cleaning operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to quality standards
• Inspect work areas regularly for cleanliness, safety hazards, and compliance with established protocols
• Train and mentor custodial staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service expectations
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, laundry services, and janitorial materials to ensure adequate stock levels
• Conduct routine inspections
• Enforce health and safety regulations by monitoring sanitation practices and implementing corrective actions when necessary
• Lead scheduling efforts for custodial teams to optimize coverage during peak hours or special events
• Cover shifts when required, i.e., callouts, vacation, sick leave.

Skills

• Strong supervisory and leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams effectively
• Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and inspections simultaneously
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques
• Ability to train staff on janitorial procedures, safety standards, and quality control measures
• Extensive janitorial and custodial experience with knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and safety regulations

Must have own transportation

• This position requires you to work at multiple locations that will NOT be accessible by public transportation, there for you MUST have your own transportation.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
