The Part-Time Custodian/Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall member experience at the Club. This position is responsible for ensuring that all designated facilities are clean, well-stocked, and welcoming, with special attention to detail and consistency. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, values high standards, and understands the importance of a clean and well-maintained club environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Clean, sanitize, and stock all restrooms, always ensuring a high standard of cleanliness

· Clean and maintain kitchen areas, including surfaces, sinks, appliances, and floors

· Stock supplies as needed (paper products, soaps, cleaning materials, etc.)

· Wipe down and clean tables, chairs, countertops, and high-touch surfaces in all assigned common areas

· Maintain cleanliness in club common spaces, including but not limited to:

· Stone Building (interior and exterior patio)

· Tennis Pavilion

· Warming Hut

· Follow established detailing and deep-cleaning schedules for the Stone Building and other facilities

· Properly use, store, and maintain/inventory cleaning supplies and equipment

· Report maintenance issues, supply shortages, or safety concerns to management promptly

· Support additional cleaning needs related to club events, programs, and peak usage times

Qualifications & Skills

· Strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for cleanliness

· Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic

· Willingness to follow established club and department procedures

· Scheduling flexibility, including willingness to work additional hours based on club events and registrations

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Physical ability to perform custodial duties, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive motions

Work Environment & Expectations

This position includes indoor and outdoor work environments and requires regular interaction with members, guests, and staff. The Custodian / Housekeeper is expected to perform all duties in a professional, courteous, and safety-conscious manner while maintaining the Club’s standards.

Position Type:

Classification: Part-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

Schedule: 16–20 hours per week (flexible)

Compensation: $18–$21 per hour, based on experience

Reports To: General Manager

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
