Custom Clearance Officer

• Responsibilities:
• Oversee the import and export process, including documentation, customs clearance, and shipping arrangements.
• Ensure compliance with international trade laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions, including invoices, contracts, and shipment details.
• Ensuring the smooth operation of the supply chain in the organization.
• Coordinate with customs authorities, brokers, and other relevant parties to facilitate the timely clearance of goods
• Ensure all shipments comply with local and international customs laws, regulations, and procedures.
• Stay updated on changes in customs regulations and implement necessary adjustments in clearance procedures.
• Work closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics officers to ensure accurate and complete documentation for customs clearance.
• Maintain accurate records of all customs transactions and documentation.
• Prepare regular reports on customs clearance activities and performance.
• Problem solving aptitudes with an excellent analytical, solution orientation and risk management with ability to draw on experiences for providing evidence-based decision making.
• Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to build good working relationships and to work flexibly and collaboratively with colleagues from different divisions, departments and institutions to achieve organizational goals.
• Requirements:
• A bachelor's degree, preferably in Logistics or Supply Chain
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Urdu.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must have 3 to 4 years of experience in Custom Clearance.
