Custom CMS Developer (Web Developer)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain CMS-driven websites and applications.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented custom code to extend CMS functionality.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to create seamless digital experiences.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs into CMS platforms.
• Ensure websites are responsive, fast, and SEO-friendly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CMS-based sites.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in CMS technologies, development best practices, and industry standards.
• Perform website maintenance, including security updates and performance improvements.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CMS Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing custom-coded projects.
• Expertise in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience with multiple CMS platforms (e.g., Shopfy, WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, or others).
• Proficiency in custom theme and plugin/module development.
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation) and back-end development.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience in writing custom CMS functions, hooks, and filters.
• Ability to integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services into CMS platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with eCommerce platforms like WooCommerce, Magento, or Shopify.
• Familiarity with modern web development workflows, including build tools like Webpack or Gulp.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
• Experience with website security practices and tools.
• Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
