POSITION SUMMARY

Serves as the first point of contact for technical support escalation for operations. Responsible for working alongside Manufacturing/Design Engineers supporting technical operations.

Hours: M-F, 5:00 A.M. - 1:30 P.M.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical support of products, processes, materials, and equipment in order to achieve production goals (i.e., quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and safety) for assigned area
• Identify and troubleshoot processes, material or equipment problems to minimize production down time and quality issues
• Aid and monitor the containment of quality issues
• Provide tooling validation; modify existing and develop new tooling and fixtures
• Design and create templates
• Revise existing documents, processes, and/or methods to correct or improve processes/product; submit red line drawings
• Work with vendors/suppliers to procure tools and/or supplies as needed
• Lead/assist in Continuous Improvement (CI) projects, implementing new equipment or processes or improving existing ones
• Lead/facilitate level 4 as-build structures throughout entire custom process
• Main welder technique and process training resource
• Participate and provide fab/weld feedback during design reviews
• Provide real time design issue feedback on large structures, provide post-build review notes to designers
• Occasional off-site quality issue evaluation/repair
• Work with internal/external suppliers/customers to improve material quality and delivery
• Train and provide technical support and/or direction as needed
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

The target hourly range is $26.00 - $36.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. The posted pay range reflects the expected compensation for a fully qualified candidate. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs.

In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity.
