Customer Experience Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer enquiries via telephone and email, providing a professional and efficient service.
  • Process sales orders and purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and manage shared inboxes and undertake administrative tasks to support the wider Customer Experience team.
  • Produce and issue order acknowledgements and provide customers with delivery updates.
  • Liaise with internal departments including Logistics, Purchasing, Production and Accounts to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
  • Ensure orders are processed efficiently and handed over to Procurement and Production teams in line with delivery requirements.
  • Maintain accurate customer and order information within company systems.
  • Handle incoming calls and customer enquiries while meeting service level expectations.
  • Support the delivery of an excellent customer experience throughout the order lifecycle.


Knowledge and Skills

  • Previous experience in a customer service, customer support, sales administration or order processing role.
  • Experience supporting customers purchasing technical or engineered products would be advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Good IT skills and confidence using CRM, ERP or business systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing orders and customer information.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of customer service best practice.
  • Interest in technical products and solutions.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
