Job Purpose:
The Customer Marketing Manager will report to Head of Commercial Excellence and is responsible for driving both sales and margin for all products within Pharmacy Channels (Chain Pharmacies, General Pharmacies & E Pharmacies).
The Customer Marketing Manager is accountable for the development and adaptation of category strategies for the management of different product categories within local conditions (in terms of both clients and categories). The incumbent also supports the strategic management of Trade Marketing, aiming
to provide the right format, pack, at the right price for each occasion, shopper mission and channel.

Key Responsibilities:

Trade channel strategy design and execution in line with company growth objectives Channel wise Distribution optimization.

Driving superior in store visibility with best in class trade tools deployment to ensure shopper engagement and call to action.

Gross to Net/Trade investment budget management on monthly, quarterly and annual basis. End of end ownership and accountability of trade spends.

Strong cross functional collaboration with stakeholders in Marketing, finance, sales and supply chain.

Promo Line investment management of A&P, ensuring tracking, forecasting and execution.
-
Supporting key pillars of trade investments and active mix management in NRM work stream. Supporting D Commerce team to drive winning offline and online shelf presence.

Management monitoring and self audit of relevant ComEx SOPs ensuring all actions are inline with provided guidelines
-
Extensive Market visit to get channel insights and understanding Shopper trends
-
Ensure implementation of Planograms (Activity Grid) as per brand strategy and prepare usage of merchandising guide by the sales team
-
Plan all elements of promotions including order placement, forecasting, briefing to the local implementation team in coordination with Sales Team
-
Pre and Post analysis for activities; Carryout timely evaluation of consumer promotions and carry forward key learning’s for promotion quantities,

Work closely with Sales Head to identify opportunities for penetration into existing channels and distribution into new channels
-
Part of Joint Business Planning for all key accounts and for budget allocation; In coordination with Marketing & Sales, effectively deploy the budgets for Annual Shelf Rentals, Periodic Displays, Multibuys and R & A

Prepare Trade Promotion calendars on a quarterly basis and circulate to all stakeholders

Coordinate with Area Team for Best Practices sharing and presenting Pakistan Pharmacy channel
Skills and Competencies:
-
Bachelor degree with a preference for a Masters degree in management (Business Administration, Marketing and Communications, or equivalent)

Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in a reputed Company in Sales, Trade Marketing or Brand Management
-
Effective communication skills and command of the English language
-
Good Presentation skills
-
Good knowledge of trade marketing and brand plans
-
Good grasp of distribution and logistics management
-
Management of budgets and understanding of financial and legal regulations
-
Hands on exposure to dealing with Trade Channels
-
Management of agencies and suppliers
-
Deep understanding of the P&L, retail math, analytics, financial/strategic modelling, forecasting, etc

Problem Solving, possess solid judgment, and decision-making ability, and can deal with ambiguity.
